The workshops are designed for adults of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re curious about drama, looking to boost confidence, or simply want to try something new in a relaxed environment, you are very welcome.

What to expect

Join New Shoes Theatre for a friendly, supportive series of Adult Drama Workshops in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. These sessions offer a playful and welcoming space to explore creativity, build confidence and connect with others — no previous drama experience required.

Each session focuses on a different aspect of creative expression, including improvisation, character work, voice, movement and gentle group exercises. The emphasis is on enjoyment, imagination and participation, not performance or pressure.

The workshops are led by Nicolette Kay, a professional actress, director and facilitator with extensive experience working in community and professional settings. Nicolette creates a warm, inclusive atmosphere where everyone can take part at their own pace.
